COURSE DESCRIPTION 

The purpose of this course is to gain a more in depth understanding of the 14 allergens. It's essential that food handlers in retail, catering and other settings that handle and prepare food. have an awareness of what food allergens are, how they can affect the safety of customers, and how they should communicate the right allergen information to those who need to know

This qualification is designed for those working with children and young people, as well as those working with adults who are parents or caring for children. Allergen training is now mandatory for all those who work directly with children, young people, their families and/or carers.
